FULL TIME REPORT - Brexit 1-3 Underdogs United

We fell short in many respects in today's game, as we went on to lose 3-1 and surrender our top spot in the table.

Daniel Foster opened the scoring early on from range with a free kick, with a misjudgement from the keeper Stevenson helping it skid into the bottom corner. Their lead was doubled shortly afterwards, as Kaiden Brooks snuck in behind our leaky back line and powered it in to make it 2-0. Hope was restored midway through the second half, as Josh Lowe pulled one back, however Underdogs were awarded a penalty for handball, which Patrick Rigby dispatched emphatically. Frankie Barnett was sent off midway through the game, after the referee interpreted his actions as 'dissent'. The final whistle blew, and we suffer our second defeat of the season, falling to 2nd in the table, 3pts behind. Hopefully it's just an off day for the lads, with a seeming lack in creativity, as well as a shaky defence which was capitalised upon by a counter-attacking United. We'll look to claw back the deficit in the table next week, Come on Brexit.
